The East Baton Rouge Parish Housing Authority is hosting its Back to School Bash today.
The event will feature backpack and school supply distribution, barber and braiding services, community resources, family activities, and a bullying prevention presentation.
Children must have a parent or guardian present to receive school supplies. Registration is required for the backpack program, as well as for haircuts and braiding.
The event is from 1 to 5 p.m. at Zion Terrace Community Center on Cadillac Street in Baton Rouge.
