Letlow, Davis Win Louisiana's U.S. Senate Primary Runoffs

Julia Letlow and Jamie Davis will be on the November ballot in the U.S. Senate race after winning their party primary runoffs on Saturday.

Letlow, who had the endorsement of President Donald Trump, defeated John Fleming in the Republican runoff with 57 percent of the vote.

Davis clobbered Gary Crockett in the Democratic runoff, winning 80 percent of the vote.

About 18 percent of the state's registered voters turned out at the polls.

Incumbent Senator Bill Cassidy came in third in the GOP spring primary.
