Baton Rouge Airport To Receive Nearly $11M In Federal Money For Upgrades

The Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport will receive nearly $11 million in federal grants for terminal and baggage system replacement.

Federal officials highlighted the airport in the government's latest round of Airport Infrastructure Grants. The FAA is awarding more than $523 million to airports in 43 states.

The grants will support runway rehab, terminal upgrades, taxiway improvements, baggage system upgrades, and other airfield investments.
