A proposed bill that would prohibit vape stores from selling their products near schools is making its way through the state legislature.

House Bill 302 would stop the state from issuing new retail permits to vape businesses within 300 feet of a school. The House approved the bill on Wednesday by vote of 86 to four. The measure will now move to the Senate.
