Southern University Gospel Choir In The Running For HBCU Choir Of The Year

The Southern University Gospel Choir is nominated for a Steller Award in the category of HBCU Choir of the Year.

The Steller Awards, now in their 41st year, are considered the top honor in black gospel music.

Online votes are being taken every day until Monday, June 1.

Among the dozen other nominees for HBCU Choir of the Year are the Texas College Choir, the Johnson C. Smith University Choir, and the Claflin University Concert Choir.
