The Pelicans have found their next head coach.
New Orleans is hiring former Orlando Magic coach Jamahl Mosley as the franchise's new head coach. ESPN reports that the deal is for five years.
Mosley led the Magic three consecutive playoff appearances over the past three seasons, but was fired by the team on May 4th following a first-round exit.
The 47-year-old has the third-most regular-season wins in Magic franchise history.
He takes over a team that finished this season 11th in the West at 26-56.
