Blue Bayou Water Park Reopens After Shutdown For Renovations

Blue Bayou Water Park reopens this weekend after being shut down for a year of renovations.

Crews started working last June on behind-the-scenes infrastructure improvements at the 35-year-old park.

No new rides will be added this year, but management says that could change in the years ahead.

Blue Bayou's hours will expand as the summer season progresses. The park will be open every weekend from now through August.
