Police are trying to find a man suspected of a shooting in Gonzales.
Investigators say Roy Hayward shot a victim in the leg a week ago Sunday. He then ran away from the scene.
Gonzales police say Hayward has a history of criminal violence and is currently out on parole. As a convicted felon, he's prohibited from possessing a gun.
