The success of the movie "Sinners" is reportedly bringing more film industry business to Louisiana.
The 2025 vampire thriller earned a record 16 Oscar nominations, mostly for a local crew, and took home four statuettes.
Jason Waggenspack, CEO of the Ranch Film Studios in St. Bernard Parish, says seven film productions are in the works in Louisiana right now.
These include a major motion picture in Baton Rouge, two mid-major films in New Orleans, and several independent films.
