The Saints are bringing back a familiar face to their defense.
NFL Network reports that New Orleans is signing linebacker Kaden Elliss to a three-year, $33 million deal.
The deal includes $23 million guaranteed and a maximum value of nearly $39 million.
The 30-year-old spent the past three seasons with the Atlanta Falcons after beginning his career in New Orleans.
In other news, the team has restructured the contract of center Erik McCoy and also traded punter Kai Kroeger and a 2028 seventh-round pick to the Houston Texans in exchange for a 2028 sixth-round pick.
