The location of a proposed Mississippi River bridge hasn't yet been decided, but its name may already have been chosen.
A Louisiana House committee passed a bill on Tuesday to name the bridge the President Donald J. Trump Expressway.
The House Transportation Committee approved the bill by a vote of 12-2. The bill will now move to the full House floor for a vote.
GOP State Representative Michael Echols says the idea is to draw federal funding to the project, possibly reducing the need for a toll after the bridge is built.
