Four Arrested In Baton Rouge Shooting That Killed Eight-Year-Old Boy

Four people are in custody after a shooting that killed a young boy on Sunday evening.

The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office says shots were fired around 6:20 p.m. as a group of people argued on San Juan Drive. Deputies say a bullet hit eight-year-old Davian Nicholas, who died at the hospital.

Four suspects were arrested within hours of the shooting.

One suspect is charged with principal to first-degree murder. The other three are charged with first-degree murder, and two of them are also charged with illegal use of a weapon.
