The opening of the Burgess Road Bridge in Livingston Parish is unavoidably delayed.
The bridge was scheduled to open on Wednesday of next week. Parish President Randy Delatte announced Sunday that the opening date is now pushed back to April 20
Delatte said the delay was caused by weather problems, contractor changes, and the closure of the Lockhart Road Bridge.
