An offshore oil spill is delaying the planned release of some sea turtles off Grand Isle.

Louisiana Offshore Oil Port says the failure leaked crude oil into the Gulf from their facility about 20 miles off Port Fourchon. Cleanup is in progress, and there is reportedly no impact on fish or wildlife.

Audubon had been treating the sea turtles for cold shock and planned to release them back into the Gulf. The organization hasn't given a rescheduled time for releasing the turtles.
