Several federal programs are now available to Louisiana farmers and livestock producers who need help after January's ice storm.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced on Monday that the Livestock Indemnity Program can help those whose livestock were killed on injured.

The Emergency Assistance for Livestock, Honeybees, and Farm-Raised Fish Program can compensate eligible producers for feed and grazing losses.

The Tree Assistance Program is open to assist orchard owners and nursery tree growers.
