Gov. Jeff Landry says Amazon is building a $12 billion data center in Caddo Parish.

In Monday's announcement, the North Louisiana Economic Partnership said the facility should create more than 500 well-paying jobs.

Amazon's first data center in north Louisiana will support cloud computing technologies for customer service.

Construction should start in the next few weeks at several sites across Bossier and Caddo Parishes.
