Baton Rouge FedEx Driver Arrested, Accused Of Stealing Packages

A FedEx delivery driver is accused of stealing thousands of dollars' worth of merchandise instead of delivering it.

East Baton Rouge Parish property theft detectives were notified last week of a FedEx package that wasn't delivered.

They obtained a search warrant and looked into a storage unit on Perkins Road, where they found stolen merchandise worth about $62,000.

Detectives arrested FedEx driver Tyran Jackson on a charge of theft.
