The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is criticizing a federal judge's order to release four detained illegal immigrants.

U.S. District Judge John deGravelles ruled that ICE violated their constitutional rights by re-detaining them in the Louisiana State Penitentiary last summer after years of supervised release.

Homeland Security on Thursday pointed out that the judge is an Obama appointee, and said the four illegals have convictions for murder, child sex abuse, kidnapping, aggravated assault with a firearm, and drug offenses.
