A group representing hundreds of Louisiana insurance agents plans to hold its advocacy day in Baton Rouge this Thursday.
The idea is for the Professional Insurance Agents of Louisiana to discuss laws the group wants the state legislature to pass after the 2026 legislative session starts on March 9. The focus will be on improving homeowners' insurance with various reforms.
The group will stage a mock legislative committee hearing at the state capitol building.
Thursday's event is open to the public by RSVP through the group's website.
