A Zachary woman accused of threatening Mayor David McDavid will undergo a court-ordered mental health evaluation.
A judge made the decision on Thursday during a bond hearing for Patty Haley.
Haley is charged with two counts each of threatening a public official and improper telephone communications. She's accused of phoning in death threats against McDavid on two occasions in 2024.
Haley was arrested last weekend in Mississippi. She'll be held without bond until her next court date on February 24th.
