The Louisiana Department of Health is reporting that two men have died in the northern part of the state as a result of the winter storm.
Officials say the two men died of hypothermia in Caddo Parish, near Shreveport.
The parish coroner confirms the deaths are weather-related, but no other information has been provided.
Northern Louisiana has experienced major icy road conditions and widespread power outages.
