Cassidy Expresses Confidence As Letlow Challenges Him For U.S. Senate Seat

U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy says he's not too worried about an election challenge from state Representative Julie Letlow.

Cassidy held a press call on Tuesday after Letlow announced her candidacy.

President Donald Trump stated over the weekend that he would endorse Letlow if she ran.

Cassidy voted to convict Trump when the president was impeached after the unrest at the Capitol on January 6th, 2021.

Letlow joins nine other Republicans who are running for Cassidy's Senate seat.
