A prominent New Orleans attorney is calling on the city to install permanent traffic barriers on Bourbon Street.

Morris Bart represents dozens of victims of the Bourbon Street terror attack a year ago.

Bart's clients include families of the people killed, as well as some of the people who were injured.

The FBI says Shamsud din Shabbar drove a rented truck into the New Year's Day crowd on Bourbon Street shortly after midnight.

Bart says Mayor-elect Helena Moreno should close Bourbon Street to traffic with heavy-duty bollards.
