A longtime Baton Rouge furniture store is closing down next month.

The Grand Gallery has announced its closing sale after 51 years in business on Perkins Road.

The Ethan Allen retailer will open at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 9th for the closing sale. A private invitation-only sale is scheduled before the general public is admitted.

The Grand family thanked its customers and employees, but didn't say why the store is closing.
