The LSU Tigers closed out non-conference play with a win on their home hardwood defeating Southern Miss 90-62 in Baton Rouge.
Mike Nwoko and Dedan Thomas Jr. finished with a team-high 22 points apiece.
The Tigers have won four straight to sit at 12-1. They visit Texas A&M in their SEC opener on Saturday afternoon.
In other action Monday, Southern lost to #19 Illinois 90-55 on the road. The Jaguars have lost five in-a-row to sit at 4-9.
UNO beat UT Rio Grande Valley 85-69. The Privateers are 4-8.
Southeastern Louisiana visits Incarnate Word this evening. Tomorrow, Tulane will visit East Carolina, while Louisiana hosts South Alabama.
