Landry Orders 4 Days Of Mourning For Anniversary Of Bourbon Street Attack

Governor Jeff Landry is announcing a four-day period of mourning to honor the victims of the terrorist attack on Bourbon Street.

Around 3:15 a.m. on New Year's Day, an ISIS operative drove a truck into the holiday crowd, killing 14 people and injuring dozens more.

Under the governor's order, flags statewide will be flown at half-staff from January 1st through the 4th.

The order calls on churches and public buildings to ring their bells 14 times at 3:15 a.m. on January 4th in remembrance of the 14 lives lost.
