Zachary police are investigating an accidental shooting that wounded two people on Friday night.
Officers responded around 9:30 p.m. to the shooting on Spring Hallow Court off Raven Way Drive.
Investigators say a man was unloading a gun to clean it when he shot himself in the hand and wounded a woman who was in the room.
The two wounded people were both taken to Our Lady of the Lake Hospital for treatment. Their names haven't been released.
No word yet about possible charges.
