A Louisiana airman who died in World War II is finally home.

Technical Sergeant Truman Causey was stationed in the Philippines when the Japanese attacked in December 1941.

He was captured and survived the Bataan Death March.

Causey later died in captivity and was ultimately buried in the Manila American Cemetery.

DNA testing identified his remains last spring.

His relatives were at Louis Armstrong Airport for the dignified transfer of his remains.

Causey was laid to rest on November 15, 83 years to the day after he died.
