The New Orleans Pelicans have lost five straight games after falling to the Golden State Warriors 124-106 Sunday at the Smoothie King Center.
Trey Murphy III scored a team-high 20 points in the losing effort. Jose Alvarado came off the bench to score 18 points as the Pels slipped to 2-11.
The latest loss came with interim head coach James Borrego at the helm after the team fired Willie Green on Saturday. He was in his fifth season as head coach and finished with a 150-190 record.
The Pelicans the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight.
