East Baton Rouge Parish leaders are in for more number-crunching after voters rejected all three tax renewals on Saturday's ballot.
Mayor-President Sid Edwards wanted to redirect funds from the parish Library, Mosquito Abatement, and the Council on Aging to help balance the city-parish budget.
The budget already calls for severe personnel cuts of possibly more than 200 jobs.
Only 19 percent of the parish's registered voters cast ballots.
