Gov. Jeff Landry is demanding that the EPA and its contractors speed up the cleanup efforts at Smitty's Supply in Roseland.

The company suffered an explosion and fire more than a month ago, and a local videographer posted video showing oily residue still fouling nearby waterways.

Landry spotted the video on social media and responded with a post of his own that included some of the footage.

He said the EPA and its contractors aren't cleaning up the mess fast enough.
