There's a shakeup in the leadership of the Livingston Parish Library System.
During Tuesday night's meeting, the board decided by a 6-4 vote not to renew Director Michelle Parrish's contract. As a result, Parrish is required to resign.
Parish President Randy Delatte and five other board members voted for Parrish's removal.
Afterward, the four who voted against it resigned, including the board chair and vice chair.
The vote came after Parrish's annual performance review. Delatte said she lacked leadership skills.
