Iberville Parish school employees have pay raises on the way.
The school board last week approved a $4,000 pay hike for all school employees, effective July 1.
Superintendent Louis Voiron says the raises will help the district's recruitment and retention efforts.
In addition to teacher shortages, Voiron says they're also short-handed when it comes to school bus drivers, food service, custodial positions, and maintenance.
