Louisiana Republicans are telling Democrats not to take a victory lap after the defeat of all four proposed constitutional amendments on Saturday's ballot.
Democrats say their grassroots campaign helped defeat the amendments. Republicans say they're still in the driver's seat, and Democratic voter registration is down in Louisiana over the past month.
Some GOP analysts say Amendment 2 was the longest proposed constitutional amendment in the state's history, and they'll try again later to pass its measures one at a time.
