A Denham Springs man is in custody and accused of a hit-and-run accident in Livingston Parish that injured a pedestrian.
Deputies responded around 9 p.m. Saturday to the scene on State Highway 1023 south of State Highway 63. The pedestrian involved was seriously injured.
Acting on anonymous tips, investigators identified Brandon Chenevert as the driver on Tuesday. They located his damaged car, and also found drugs and guns on his property.
Chenevert is charged with hit and run and a list of other charges.
