A 16-year-old suspect is in custody and accused of making a bomb threat at Gonzales Middle School.

Gonzales police responded to the threat around 9 a.m. on Monday. Officials partially evacuated the school and searched the campus.

Just before noon, they sounded the all-clear, and students and teachers returned to class.

Police arrested the teenager because of his suspected involvement in the threats. He's being held at a juvenile detention center.
