Funeral arrangements are announced for St. Gabriel Police Officer Darius Faveroth.
City officials say Faveroth died on Sunday. His cause of death hasn't been released, but the St. Gabriel Police Department confirmed it wasn't in the line of duty.
Faveroth's memorial service will be on Saturday at the Iberville Christian Center in St. Gabriel. Viewing will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the funeral service immediately afterward.
