Report: Saints Hire Cal DC Peter Sirmon As LBs Coach

The Saints are reshaping their coaching staff with another new addition.

ESPN is reporting that New Orleans is hiring Cal defensive coordinator Peter Sirmon as the team's new linebackers coach.

Sirmon has spent the last seven years at Cal and served as the program's defensive coordinator for the past five.

The former NFL linebacker played for the Tennessee Titans from 2000 to 2006.

He is joining the new Saints staff led by head coach Kellen Moore and DC Brandon Staley.
