The Capitol Park Museum has a display dedicated to LSU football great Billy Cannon.
The Baton Rouge native attended Istrouma High School, and went on to become the first LSU player to win the Heisman Trophy and the first to be drafted first overall in the NFL.
In the early '80s, Cannon served several years in a Texan prison for counterfeiting. He later became a dentist at the Louisiana State Penitentiary in Angola.
The exhibit opened on December 17th and will be on display until January 10th.
