The State Treasurer's Office says Louisiana residents have millions of dollars coming to them.

State income tax refunds totaling $8.7 million have gone uncashed so far.

Officials say the money probably belongs to taxpayers whose refunds somehow were lost. The unclaimed money belongs to more than 29,000 taxpayers this year.

Residents can go to LACashClaim.org to see if they're owed any money.
