Louisiana Surgeon General Ralph Abraham says it's no big deal that a live tiger in a cage was present at Saturday's LSU football game.

Dr. Abraham is also a veterinarian, and he says he spent several hours with the tiger the night before the game. He describes the big cat as "comfortable around people" and says he "enjoyed the attention."

Governor Jeff Landry announced on Friday that he would bring a visiting live tiger into Tiger Stadium for the game. PETA complained to the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries about it.

Despite having the big cat in their corner, the Tigers lost to the Alabama Crimson Tide 42-13.
