One member of the Saints receiving corps is seeking consultation outside the organization.
Wide receiver Chris Olave is consulting with specialists after sustaining his second concussion of the season. Interim coach Darren Rizzi said Wednesday that the team is taking things "day by day" to make sure Olave does what's best for his health.
The third-year receiver has now had four confirmed concussions in his NFL career. The 24-year-old changed his helmet to a model considered to be safer after sustaining his first concussion this season, but elected not to wear a Guardian Cap during games.
New Orleans is tied for last in the NFC South at 2-7 and will host the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
