Pelicans Defeat Magic In Preseason Opener, 106-104

The Pelicans started out the preseason with a win.

New Orleans defeated the Orlando Magic 106-104 at the Smoothie King Center.

Zion Williamson led the way with 16 points, eight rebounds, three assists and a pair of steals.

Jordan Hawkins came off the bench to score a team-high 18 points.

The Pels are 1-0 and will continue preseason play on the road against Orlando on Friday night.
