Gregory Taylor Drops Out Of EBR Mayor-President Race, Endorses Ted James

Gregory Taylor is no longer in the running for Mayor-President of East Baton Rouge Parish.

Taylor announced his withdrawal from the race on Thursday and endorsed Democratic candidate Ted James.

Taylor is a mechanic who was one of the three independent candidates who qualified to run for election.

His withdrawal leaves eight candidates in the race for EBR Mayor-President, including the incumbent, Sharon Weston Broome.
