The East Baton Rouge Parish School Board reportedly plans to announce its new superintendent on Wednesday.
The board will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. this evening to "extend the application window until noon on Wednesday."
A candidate interview is scheduled for 4 p.m. Wednesday, followed immediately by a special "meeting to appoint." A press conference will then announce the new superintendent.
The school board recently narrowed its search to three finalists, only to have all three drop out of consideration.
