The state Superintendent of Education meets today with the East Baton Rouge School Board.
Superintendent Cade Brumley wrote a letter on Friday to the school board requesting a meeting with the board's leadership.
Brumley also reminded the board of problems such as the EBR school system's lagging academic performance, its excessive teacher vacancies, and last year's bus driver strike.
The board's deadline to choose a new superintendent is Wednesday of this week.
