House Majority Leader Steve Scalise says it's time for new leadership at the Secret Service.
In a brief speech on Tuesday, Scalise listed the policies former President Donald Trump will put into effect if he's reelected this November.
Scalise also mentioned Saturday's assassination attempt on Trump, which is under investigation.
In 2017, Scalise was shot and seriously wounded by a Bernie Sanders supporter.
While addressing the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Scalise said Trump was "one of the first to console his family" while he was in the hospital and praised Trump's courage "under fire".
Scalise represents Louisiana's 1st congressional district in the New Orleans area.
