A Saints rookie will not be starting the season with the team.
Wide receiver Bub Means, a 5th-round selection, has been placed on the non football injury list. The injury is not considered to be serious and the expectation is that he will be back soon.
Means began his college career at Tennessee as a defensive back, before transferring to Louisiana Tech.
He spent his final two seasons at Pittsburgh, where he caught 68 passes for 1,122 yards and eight touchdowns.
