A NASA rocket shipped out from New Orleans Tuesday on its way to Florida.

The rocket is part of the space agency's Artemis mission to the moon and ultimately Mars.

It has a 900-mile trip ahead, travelling from the Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans East to the Kennedy Space Center.

Once in Florida, the rocket will be integrated with other parts of the launch system to prepare for the flight to the moon and beyond.
