Louisiana GOP Leaders Approve Of Vance As Trump's VP Pick

Louisiana's top Republicans are supporting former president Donald Trump's selection of Ohio Senator J.D. Vance as his running mate.

Gov. Jeff Landry and Senator Bill Cassidy both stated their approval in X posts.

Senator John Kennedy said Vance's political views are compatible with Trump's, and Rep. Clay Higgins described Vance as a "strong conservative."

Congresswoman Julia Letlow said Vance is an "outstanding choice."
